Beauty: Napoleon Perdis Browtox

Brows, brows , brows! Can anyone actually pin point the moment in time when eyebrows started to matter? Whilst I’ve always maintained my brows with tinting and waxing, when it came to makeup I wouldn’t give them a second thought. Until about 2013. Now they are my main focus! If I HAVE to leave the house without makeup, I will at least fill in my brows. The Catalina Geo brow powder trio has been my go to brow product for the past few years, until I moved onto the Australis Browz It kit. That’s served me pretty well for a while but I’m always looking for new products to try. I was tossing up between the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade and Napolean Perdis Browtox eyebrow gel and ultimately decided on the latter.

Interestingly the Napoleon Perdis Browtox eyebrow gel only comes in one universal colour. Luckily for me it just happens to be the perfect shade for my hair. Though that’s pretty easy with a balayage haha. I’m assuming this is because the aim of the Browtox is simply to fill in rather than line and shape the brow. As a nice little bonus this product also comes with an angled brow brush with a spool on the end. Unfortunately my brush was squashed and misshapen so I wasn’t able to try it yet. At $39- rrp this is definitely on the pricier side but if your willing to spend the money you’ll find it’s worth it.

The consistency is super soft and creamy but it turns tacky really quickly. This is actually really great because it sets your brows for all day stay. This is the perfect brow product for  natural looking brows with longevity. I wouldn’t recommend Browtox for beginners though as you do need to work fast and know what your doing. 💋
