My daughter, Sofià, is a really picky eater. Her Favourite food one day she will completely swerve the next day. So If I find something that she will consistently eat I stock up. One thing that usually wins with sofia are Heinz baby food pouches. She just loves them. But I hate throwing out pouches whenever she eats them, it feels wasteful. And its not cost effective to buy a bunch of little food pouches at $1.50 each that are so small. After searching online I finally found some reusable food pouches with a spout for bubs to eat from. Sinchies are an Aussie company that sell reusable pouches and other food storage. I got a “Sinchies Starter Kit” that included all different sized pouches and a few other reusable bags. I looooove them! I spent some time today making up some pouches for Sofià and Stark (He’s just started on some solids too). I made some pumpkin puree mix for Stark and some porridge ones for Sofià. I’ll chuck them in the freezer and thaw them as they want them. Then they can be washed and reused. If you want me to post any of my baby food recipes let me know.
